Parvathi replaces Priyamani against Balayya

When Parvathi Melton was reportedly ousted from the project with Mahesh Babu, the red wine beauty went off the radar. Some even said she packed her bags and quit Tollywood. However, she got back and that too with a vengeance. Her item song ‘Poovai poovai…’ in ‘Dookudu’ gave the film a lot of fuel at the box office.

Now, the heat she generated seems to have struck none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna. News is that Balayya’s next project with director Ravi Chavali was to have Priyamani as the leading lady. Apparently, the makers thought her chemistry with Balayya in ‘Mitrudu’ was good. However, after few days it was heard that Priyamani was not taken due to ‘date issues’.

Well, inside sources say the real reason for that is Balayya. Apparently, the Nandamuri star has reportedly gone for Parvathi as he felt that it is time for a new pair to be seen onscreen. As for Parvathi, the pretty girl has reportedly mentioned that this is a wonderful opportunity for her to flaunt her beauty and talent. Let us hope she scores another success with it and silences all her critics

Dirty stands taller than Balayya

Nandamuri Balakrishna is one star whose films tend to draw good crowds and collections even if the talk is mediocre or below average. However, this time it appears that his power is failing to work and the reason for that is the sex appeal of a lady who has been scorching the screens with her oomph.

We are talking about the film ‘The Dirty Picture’ and reports from various collection centres are that the film has been dominating the divine presence of Balayya in the form of ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. It is heard that except weekends, the film has not been able to score during the rest of the days.

Trade pundits reveal that in many towns, ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ and ‘The Dirty Picture’ are playing side by side. While the Hindi movie and its dubbed version are running successfully, Balayya’s film has not been able to deliver that sort of response. This is unusual but true.
