Jagan Resumes Attack On Sonia!

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been maintaining restraint on attacking the Congress party at the Centre for quite some time, resumed the attack again on Thursday.
Addressing a gathering as part of his Odarpu Yatra in Guntur district, Jagan said Congress president Sonia Gandhi was able to run the UPA government at the Centre only because of the efforts of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the state.
“If not for the hard work of YSR in 2004 and 2009, Sonia Gandhi would not have been in this position,” he said.
However, Jagan did not make stronger comments against Sonia, but according to political observers, he might step up attack on her in the coming days.
Apparently, Jagan is emboldened by the support of 18 MLAs and the outcome of the Bellary bypoll result. He is perhaps of the view that he would still emerge as victorious in the elections despite the CBI inquiry against him.
All these days, there was a talk that Jagan had stopped criticizing Sonia Gandhi as part of his compromise with the central leadership of the Congress party following the CBI inquiry.

Sibal cries foul at morphed pics

Why Communications Minister Kapil Siban was so upset with social networking sites? Apparently, his party and government leaders have been particularly the target of “disparaging and defamatory” depictions in these sites.
Sibal met senior functionaries from Facebook, Google, YouTube and Yahoo on Monday, and asked them to evolve a mechanism to filter such “inflammatory” and “defamatory” content that could create social tension.
It is learnt that the Minister took a strong view on the use of morphed images of Ms Sonia Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh on Facebook. Sibal even warned of “stern action” against these firms if they failed to act.
Several morphed pictures of Congress top leaders are doing the rounds on Facebook and other sites. Some of these are not exactly in good taste.
Facebook and other social networking sites have become the ultimate place for ‘creative’, ‘funny’ and ‘interesting’ images, cartoons, caricatures and several other odd things for people to vent their feelings over various issues.
However, the government now wants to be big brother and warns that it is watching.

Nara, Nallari bite at each other

Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu and Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy had a bitter exchange during the debate on no-confidence motion today. Initiating the discussion on the motion, the TDP chief dubbed Kiran becoming Chief Minister as hitting a jackpot. To which, Kiran retorted that he served Congress Party and with the blessing of party high command, he became Chief Minister.
“I have not stabbed my father-in-law in the back like Chandrababu to grab the chair. Even if such a chance had come my way, I would not have stooped down like him,” he breathed fire.
Naidu replied that TDP got power through people, while Chief Ministers were nominated at the mercy of Sonia Gandhi in Congress Party. “It’s because of this sealed cover business of Congress that this state has been condemned to have Chief Ministers who lack leadership qualities or abilities,” he fumed.
Later, Chandrababu also charged CM’s family members with acting as ‘extra-Constitutional authority’. He said that Kiran’s brother Kishore Kumar Reddy is participating in government programs like Rachabanda and giving assurances to voters. Another brother Satish Kumar Reddy is interfering in government in Hyderabad. Kiran defended his family saying his brothers were part and parcel of his constituency and also a Congressmen for the last 15 years. “I don’t see anything wrong in that,” he replied.
The exchange turned ugly and personal when Kiran ridiculed Babu for entrusting his constituency responsibilities to his PA. Babu took strong exception at Kiran addressing him in singular. “I defeated your father Amaranatha Reddy. You are frustrated so much that you are devaluing the chair of CM,” he said.
Kiran said it was not his intention to insult opposition leader but said Naidu was in politics thanks to his father.

and KC CircaR's maaya continues...

KCR has a knack of mesmerizing his people like a magician. His revelation about Sonia Gandhi conducting a survey in Telangana to find out the ‘ground reality’ is the latest breaking news from the TRS chief.
According to Namaste Telangana, KCR claimed that Sonia was not ‘convinced’ with the reports from the state government or the governor on Telangana issue. So she has sent her own men – 600 of them – to various Telangana districts.
KCR also told them that the decision on Telangana is likely in the budget session of the Parliament in February.
The Telangana leader also knowingly said that Chandrababu would be finished following the CBI inquiry. They have enough material to nail him.
The pink boss, indeed, knows how to keep his flock in continuous trance over the inevitability of separate Telangana, just like the ‘second coming’ of Christ.
However, not many even in Telangana seem to be convinced by his pep talk. One comment to the news in Namaste Talangana said, “Pittala Dora”. Another said KCR is back to his hypnotics.
